About this listen

DEADLY SILENCE. UNSEEN ENEMIES. ONE MAN STANDS IN THE WAY.

Children are vanishing without a trace. No ransom demands. No warnings. Just gone.

When Jack Noble is dragged into the twisted underworld of child trafficking, the mission becomes personal. Manipulated by a shadowy mastermind with unimaginable power, Jack finds himself thrust into the role of both hunter and hunted.

Every step deeper into the darkness reveals more than Jack is prepared to face. The deeper he goes, the higher the stakes rise—not just for the innocent lives at risk, but for his own survival. As the bodies stack up and the clock ticks down, Jack faces a moral crossroads that will challenge every belief he's ever held.

Relentless action. Gut-wrenching tension. And a villain as cold and calculating as Jack himself.

If you like the hard-hitting justice of Jack Reacher, the covert operations of Mitch Rapp, the international intrigue of Jason Bourne, and the moral complexity of John Wick, then you'll be captivated by this pulse-pounding Jack Noble thriller.

Step into the shadows—but be ready to fight your way out.

This is the 2nd in the Jack Noble series. I reserved judgment on the 1st book, to let this novel be my decider.

In my opinion, the 2 books could have been written as one. True, they're 2 different stories and settings, but they could easily have been strung together! As individual novels, they each lack some of the background information that gives a story more dimension. I don't mean that it should have pages and pages of it, but it at least should have some.

It's a very one dimensional novel, with only one dimensional characters, doing things that are extraordinary, yet ignoring the routine stuff that could be useful or lifesaving.

Also, there is still no rhyme or reason to the plot, as 'explained' by the perpetrator! So, on the whole, it leaves a very unfinished & unsettling taste in you mouth. To be honest , I'd expect more detail from a short story!

Forget the hype. This guy is no Jack Reacher, Jason Bourne or Mitch Rapp and, if you are accustomed to reading those novels, then you're going to be very disappointed or dissatisfied with Noble.

He's Noble, but not a patch on Reacher…

Firstly I thought the sound whilst clear, was over bassed.

The story never quite got going, and the supposed hard man didn’t live up to his reputation, didn’t quite get the better of the bad guys when perhaps he should have.

I hope they get better, as I have bought two more of the series.

Never quite got going, for me.

I enjoyed Noble beginnings so purchased this one. Very disappointed as story line a bit ragged. Finished but did not really enjoy it.

If you were expecting Jack Reacher you will be disappointed
