Summary

Darcy and Elizabeth find their lives greatly affected by a changed Mr. Collins when one false step causes startling consequences.

Mr. Collins is knocked unconscious while dancing at Netherfield and requires medical care, which prevents the Bingleys and Mr. Darcy from leaving for London after the ball. The situation grows only more complicated when Mr. Collins wakes up...changed.

With a thoroughly odd Mr. Collins at Netherfield recovering from his injuries and Mr. Wickham lurking in the background, love swirls between Jane and Bingley, and Darcy fights desperately against his attraction for Elizabeth.

I never write reviews but as I in general enjoy this author I cannot stop myself. The narration is not up to any kind of standard and completely destroy the story. Not what I would expect Audible to offer.

Unprofessional narration.

it was very difficult to listen to this narrator. I am forcing myself to listen to the rest because I am curious to see how the story goes.

Awful narration

I am glad the story was shorter, because of the narrator. Voice too high, reading too fast, wrong intonation

Nice enough story, unsuitable narrator

A really nice story ruined by an awful narrator who’s pronounced a lot of the words wrong.

This author is always a bit heavy on religious references even though religion was a part of life at the time. However, the author tends to emphasize it above the story in this book. It is a distraction in other titles but this one is less a p&p variation and more random thoughts on theology. Not even historically accurate ideas, but very modern. I've previously been able to focus on the story and set aside these obvious attempts to convert but after this one, I'll likely steer clear of the author in the future.

this title more 'preachy' than other titles
