I had no idea what this book would be like but I was very pleasantly surprised. The story is unusual and takes all manner of twists across turns before resolving in a most unexpected way. Looking forward to the next books in the series

This is a great new series, FML is a women in here forties which makes a nice change. Ava Harper moves back to her home town to do up and sell her family home. While there she finds a dead body and reconnects with her witchy heritage. Great read off to read the next book.
The narration is excellent

That cover isn't the best, at all. The story was fun, full of twits and turns, the fmc annoyed me no end. I really want to know what happens next, but am contemplating if I can put up with her and her half @ss excuses.... The other characters and the story line are really good. The mystery was interesting and, at one point everyone was a suspect.
The ending was interesting.
Really liked the narration.
