One day you're on the run, the next, you're king of your own territory. With lives on his shoulders, Titos must step up. With all the change, Titos struggles with being a ruler. The story was a great continuation of events from the first book. You see the relationships, responibilities, powers, and dangers grow with every page read. Lots of action, of all types, in this high-stakes adventure. Gotta love the Phoenix, he's so awesome! (and funny)
John Solo's performance was superb, yet again. It's not easy keeping so many character voices distinct and distinguishable, but he pulls it off seemingly seamlessly. The story continues into another book, but there's no real cliffhanger ending. I'm so looking forward to book three and the continuing saga of our king and his men.

The book is well written and well narrated as well bringing each character to life and every event playing out in my mind...thumbs up to the writer and the naratter I loved this so much that I had to buy this second book after listening to the first one this is my kinda cup of tea...
