I really enjoyed listening to her read. you can feel each and every word of the love the 2 felt for each other.

Loved every second of this story. I love all of Staving Reid's books her stories are so lovely. The narrator says OK. She was much better than of the narrator of the other series I listened to.

Struggled to listen to the end. Kept skipping large parts. Found it boring and tedious. And the narration didn't help. wouldn't recommend

I have enjoyed this book a lot and went through it quickly!

However, although it centers on all the right topics of equality of rights between men and women and the rich and poor, it falls on the most spectacular working cliche, the secretary-to-lover.
Moreover, the progressive and forward thinking act of hiring her as his secretary, is completely destroyed once the love blossoms, as it confirms the society’s conservative view that a woman working for a man will be more prone to dishonorable (for the time) acts like intimacy before marriage.

Nevertheless, it’s en enjoyable read!
