This was the first book of Sarah Ferguson that I have read & I enjoyed it & wanted to know what happened next & I liked the historical explanation at the end. I love historical novels.

This had me gripped from the start to the very end.It was so engaging and you just wanted to listen to more and more. I’ve just downloaded her earlier novel I’m that impressed. The narration was perfect and really suited the book. I can highly recommend this as a must listen. I’ve listened over a period of 24 hours on and off. Wish I could reward higher. Thank you you beautiful strong lady x

My first book by this author and it won’t be my last.

Loved it, especially the historical notes at the end explaining the fact vs fiction relationships and the setting. Can’t wait for the next one.

Excellent second book

I preferred the first novel but this is quite enjoyable. It feels a bit like a series of short stories involving the same characters, The narration is good but a bit over enunciated at times.
