We must position ourselves to receive. In any circumstance where a giver is giving, the recipient must position themselves to receive. Spiritually, you cannot receive a gift from God unless you position yourself to receive that gift. In fact, if you are not in position, God's blessing will crush you, and it will cause the opposite effect that was intended.
