I like the characters as I get to know them. The plots are well thought out with nothing too heavy. While the language people used at the time might not be easy on our ears today and the characters need to use modern English but please let it be English that English people would use. We never ever use the word gotten ( if that is a word). The expression is "set foot in" not "step foot in" and please don't say inquirry. It's enquiry. Sorry but I had to say that.
