I really loved the premise of this book and initially really enjoyed it. However, it soon began to drag and the quaint way is wooden soon began to grate. I'm afraid I couldn't finish it and that's very rare for me. Very disappointing.

As a whole I loved this book! The only downside is that a portion of one of the earlier chapters is missing, very strange!

Narrator worked well reading what was there, but the asides in the text are not amusing enough to enhance the tale, and much of the interjection pauses the narrative

an interesting and enjoyable audiobook about a scholarly lady and her adventures in the dragon expedition. The narration was done we'll too

I don't really know what I was expecting going into this story but my god it wasn't what occurred. I was expecting some sort of bestiary about dragons but it was such a good story that transpired instead. If you have any doubt about the book put them aside and listen. It is such a good story well written and executed.
