Powerful talk, although not the book which i thought it was when I purchased it.

I thought I will be listening to a book but it turned out to be a lecture by the author. No scientific explanation at all and I do not recommend anyone buying the audio version of the book. Very disappointed.

i wanted to listen to book by Eban Alexander. This is just a short talk he gave once. There are books, videos & interviews available of Eban, but this is not long or detailed enough to be worth the money.

This is not a book just half hour talk.

This Audible is not a reading of the Proof of Heaven book but rather a short presentation (38 mins) on the same topic by the author. This was disappointing in two respects; first I had wanted an audio version of the book, and second, as other reviewers note, audible (Amazon) has failed to describe the content properly (ie they didn’t highlight in the description that this is not an audio reading of the book!). Moreover, as I purchased this audible directly (rather than exchange a credit for the book) I was not eligible for a refund. You may wonder why the original 6hr+ audible reading of the book was replaced by a short 38min presentation? In searching for the reason, I found a very informative online feature in the Esquire, written by Luke Dittrich and Published on Jul 2, 2013 who, after some investigation, uncovered various issues with the authors account as reported in the original version of the book (the article includes an interview with the author that addresses these issues). A Google search on “Esquire, Luke Dittrich, Proof of Heaven” will quickly locate this article, Thus, before you buy this audible, you may want to consider Luke Dittrich’s findings and the fact this is not the Proof of Heaven book.
