Absolutely adored this and listened in a day. not sure why there are some negative reviews it's a good listen and the storytelling is enjoyable. I personally thought the narrator was fabulous although obviously this can be personal preference.

Such clever writing with brilliant humour that had me in stitches from the get go. Great story line and I didn’t guess the ending either which was a bonus.
I have to mention that this was the best best narrator I have ever listened to and I listen to books everyday. I will be looking for more books with Andy narrating.

What a fantastic, funny & fabulously narrated, by Andy Serkis, book this is!!
I thoroughly enjoyed every sentence of it, in fact I arrived closely to the end & decided to start again, from the beginning, to make sure I had taken it all in!
Well done Adam Kay for writing such a wonderful book…..I laughed out loud on many occasions & I rarely do that when listening to Audible books, I love his hyperboles…hilarious!
