Has the narrator ever heard an actual liverpudlian accent? Haiden is supposed to be from Liverpool but sound like he is from Oliver Twist London!!! Other than the awful accents the story is a sturdy sequal and I live the story.

Having thoroughly enjoyed Book 1 in the series, I was looking forward to this one. I was really disappointed. It was extremely slow and plodding. The book was all over the place, with little continuity. In an attempt to weave history into fiction, the author has simply produced large paragraphs of historical fact, with young children talking about it between themselves. This doesn't work because it's simply not believable that such young children would even know that level of history and also it simply comes across as a rather boring history book. Finally the narrator attempt at an English Liverpool accent is dreadful! Really disappointing follow up novel.
