I stumbled across this audiobook as a fellow plantain lover and enthusiast, and it didn't disappoint. I loved the light-hearted nature of the book combined with detailed research that uncovers the social-political history of a fruit connecting a multitude of cultures and lands. It's a great ode to plantains, and even better, the narration by the actual author adds a personal touch that makes the experience all the more engaging. Five stars!
