About this listen

Silly servant girl, no one cares about saving the villain.

Blaise wasn't supposed to be the villain, but now Nox is gone, and Blaise will stop at nothing to get him back—even if that means betraying everyone she holds dear.

Meanwhile, Asha can't shake the feeling that Az is closing in on her. After all, he's been two steps ahead of her and Kiran from the beginning. All she can do is hope he stays too focused on opening the Rip to learn the truth: Az is the true heir to the throne.

Between her nightmares, Ellie's secret, and the news that Piper has been taken captive by Queen Abra, Asha isn't sure she can handle much else. Especially not an enemy in their midst.

Realms collide and stories converge in this second part of the epic two-part finale to The Severed Realms series.

This could easily have been 5 hours shorter as it gets off to a very slow start but once the pace picks up it is a fantastic story and you finally see all the characters from the previous 4 books brought together. The previous voice actors reprise their roles and it is told from multiple points of view which keeps it interesting

Finally ties up all the stories

I really enjoyed this whole series- one of the best I’ve listened to in ages x

I loved this whole series

I felt compelled to listen to this book with it being the final one in the series. Parts of it were enjoyable - namely chapters focussing on Asha and Ellie - but as with the last book, the man narrating Nox was awful and it took a lot of effort to listen to the many, many chapters he read at the start of the book. I was glad each strand of the story within the series was resolved but it was rather a meandering narrative which I found quite boring at times. It’s a shame as I loved the first three books.

A bit too long and ultimately a disappointing final installment
