JD is a fantastic author - he really makes you care about the characters as though they are your good friends. This story had me shouting in frustration, laughing out loud and loving every second.

I came across this series by chance and aren’t I the lucky one. The storylines, sub plots, the characters, the continuity and the narration have kept me richly entertained non stop for well over 200 hours. As soon as one book finished I couldn’t resist starting the next one. Now I have to wait 6 months to start all over again, but in the meantime I’m sure the Hoone series will more than adequately fill the gap. Take a bow JD Kirk and Angus King…by far the best double act on Audible.
