About this listen

Sisters, secrets and spellbinding adventure. Discover the Pinch of Magic Adventures from bestselling Michelle Harrison, where everyone knows that magic and trouble go hand in hand . . .

It should have been a fresh start for the Widdershins sisters, Betty, Fliss and Charlie, who have left the misty gloom of Crowstone for a new life in the pretty village of Pendlewick. But all is not as it seems and as one of their own begins to slip away from them, the sisters find themselves in a race against time to break a dark magic that has cast a spell over the village.

The third spellbinding Pinch of Magic adventure from Michelle Harrison, winner of the Waterstones Children's Book Prize. Continue the Widdershins sisters' journey in A Pinch of Magic, A Sprinkle of Sorcery and A Storm of Sisters.

I loved this book. it was wonderfully mysterious and I never knew what was going to happen next. the only thing that put me off was the creepiness. it was very creepy and spooky and that isn’t what I was expecting with the age rating. this would definitely scare 7-11 year olds. Great story though. very grasping!

I think it was marvellous, but my mother didn't like the frog vomiting. I loved it so much.
