Most relevant
Very good narration but spoilt at the beginning since the narrator's voice was too old to play a man in his 20s. However, I got used to it and once the story changed to the third person (most of the book) and described the policeman, the voice was a much better fit.
A minor point was the author repeatedly describing the weather as though it was the height of summer yet it was only early May and would only have been max 20°c even in Nice!
