About this listen
Falling in love isn’t in her plans…unless one special man can convince her otherwise.
Samantha Reynolds is a no-strings kind of gal who just wants to play the field and have fun. Or at least that’s the image she presents to the world. But the savvy real estate agent with the brash, take-charge manner has a softer side—and a secret wish for a happily-ever-after with a kind, decent man who will cherish her…even if that dream has zero chance of coming true.
Widower Brad Matthews isn’t looking for love, especially with someone like Sam. In no way does she fit the image of a minister’s girlfriend, let alone wife. But something tells him that beneath the spunky, sassy front she projects lies a caring, sensitive heart. And as sparks begin to fly, he’s determined to find out if that’s true—because he’s falling hard.
While the odds seem stacked against a woman with a party-girl reputation and a minister who walks the straight and narrow, might their pairing turn out to be a match made in heaven?
In A Time to Love, bestselling author Irene Hannon gives listeners a story filled with hope, heart, and happily-ever-afters.

The circle of friends series is based on four best friends, Laura, Brad, Rebecca and Laura's best friend Sam and each story is based on one of them. this book was Sam and Brad's story.
I was really glad to read Sam's story especially and to understand why she came across the way she did. Brad was a lovely man and I liked the way he supported Sam and saw past the party girl image she was displaying. I really enjoyed Sam's growth as a character and how she worked hard to come to terms with things that happened in her past.
When I realised why Sam came across the way she did I was really sad and felt sorry for her. I am really glad that she was able to grow as a character and learn to accept her past. Tis was a really good book and I look forward to Rebeccas story.
Love this series a lot.
