The blurb doesn't do the plot justice. It is a sweeping epic filled with Gods and goddesses. The plot is a multi layered suspense filled with intrigue and political drama. The characters are swoon worthy. The world building is dynamic.
I am ready for book 2.
Thank you for the great book and narration.
My only complaint, is I wanted more Anthony Palmini. He is my favorite narrator.

.. when Cole stared to telling the story I almost dropped the whole book. He's reading without any pause.. so aggravating. You don't know where the sentence ends and where the next one begins! I'm glad i listend some more.. and I can't wait for the next book!

The male narration is so bad that I can’t finish the book. I’m about two hours in, I want to know where to story is going but I can’t whit the narration. It’s like a really bad AI performance

I genuinely cannot explain how bad this AI narration is.

The male narrator doesn’t even sound human. It’s flat, robotic, and completely strips every ounce of emotion from the story.

I’m only 8% in and I’ve already given up. I tried to push through… I really did… but it’s actually painful to listen to.

This one’s a DNF for me 🎧❌
