Lou does not have to pay income tax if he makes no more money. Mrs. Abbott gives Lou $20, and now he has $20 too much. Matty Malneck gives Lou $20. Lou buys raffle tickets. Lou wins $3,000 in the raffle. He tries to give the money away, but he ends up with more money. He now has $45,000.
