About this listen

The X-Files meets Gone Girl, in which a man claiming to be a missing child from nineteen years ago returns to the small town from where he famously vanished, but the town's retired police sergeant who failed to solve the boy's missing persons case two decades prior doesn't buy the man's claim and suspects that something much more sinister is at work.

It wouldn’t be my usual type of book but I thought the plot was good and the narration was great!

Not my style but still a great listen!

doesn't make any sense, tries to be too clever avoiding direct narrative and implying things

doesn't flow, gave up listening before the end

Awfully over padded and flimsy story. Wanted to delete but just listened to the end to see if it got any better… it didn’t!

Painful!

This book was not interesting enough to hold my attention. I found it so annoying that the name Stacey was said so many times. It's the only thing that I will remember about this book.

How many times the name Stacey was used was so annoying.
