Summary

Geraint Thomas is one of Britain's most loved sports stars. He's won Olympic gold medals, finished first, second and third at the Tour de France, and stayed at the top of his sport for almost two decades as other riders and eras have come and gone.

This is the story of his epic journey - from the streets of suburban Cardiff to the Champs-Elysees in Paris, from the mountains of the Alps to the cobbles of northern Europe. The races, the rivals, the triumphs and the magical moments none of us will ever forget.©2025 Geraint Thomas

Brilliant read especially if you’re a cycling fan and have followed Gs career from start to finish

Just the joy of the whole adventure

An interesting factual account of G’s career, but I felt it could’ve delved so much deeper into some of the key moments. There were lots of sections that just explained what was happening during races and it would’ve been great to hear more behind the scenes!

Needed more!

I’ve listened to all his books and loved them all. This was a wonderful last one. Good on ya G!

The honesty and resilience of G!

as others have said the narrator doesn't know cycling nor french pronunciation. So makes a few cock ups, but it's still an enjoyable story and worthwhile for any cycling fan. I only wish G had read it out.

great book tarnished by narration

Loved, wished it was more in depth and longer. This is my first Geraint Thomas book
