Summary

Björn Diemel wird von seiner Frau gezwungen, ein Achtsamkeits-Seminar zu besuchen, um seine Ehe ins Reine zu bringen, sich als guter Vater zu beweisen und die unausgeglichene Work-Life-Balance wieder herzustellen. Denn als erfolgreicher Anwalt hat Björn sehr wenig Zeit für seine Familie.

Mehr brauch man eigentlich nicht zu sagen. Der Vorlesungsstil Matthias Matschkes zieht einen weiter rein in eine sowieso schon spannende Erzählung, welche teils Lebensunterricht ist und teils Krimi, aber mit viel Humor.

I don't read 'Krimis' really, but this one is something else. The narrator does a sterling job at doing justice to this book and kept us thoroughly entertained throughout. The story's underlying mindfulness principles, woven into the narrative like a lifeline thread, don't take themselves too seriously, resulting in an interesting and often very funny way of looking at situations that would really be quite dark otherwise. Splendidly dry German humour and an excellent narrator, very good !
