About this listen

The exciting conclusion to Across Time! Separated from Henri by 20 years, Amelie discovers that what she thought was a weakness may be her greatest strength, and that nothing about her family and her gift is what it seemed. Now, with war on the horizon and a challenge she never saw coming, Amelie will learn what the prophecy really means for them—herself most of all.

What a heart wrenching, emotional, angsty, captivating conclusion to Sarah and Henri’s epic romance! The angst was so good and the twists and turns had me audibly gasping. The writing is brilliant! So much so that I could feel every single emotion while listening to this book. Elizabeth broke my heart and then put it back together with this book.

Shane East and Samantha Brentmoor were beyond phenomenal in this audiobook. These narrators captured the characters emotions and personality so perfectly and this made the audiobook utterly captivating and enjoyable.

I feel I have to be very careful with what I say in this review, because I am afraid to put spoilers out there and ruin it for other readers.
So I am trying very hard to hold back,I know I have a bad habit when I review that I tell half the story and I am trying to do better and be more mysterious but I can't help myself.
Across Eternity is an AMAZING Conclusion to Sarah/Amelie and Henri's story and WOW what a story it is...after that cliffhanger I have been so eager to know what would happen next.
I did NOT expect it to unravel the way it did.
I have to tell you my feelings were all over the place and I was frustrated and it completely shattered my heart.
The things that Sarah/Amelie went through made me just want to cry,she has such a rough ride and I honestly wanted to hug her, that girl needed the biggest of hugs.
Henri well what can I say about him I do Love him, but he really made me mad at him for what he did..Fair enough the information was false, but NO Henri why?..I was not ok with his actions.
But his beg for forgiveness redeemed him and my heart swooned.
This book has got to be the biggest rollercoaster of emotions you will ever ride upon.
Now what made this book so much more wonderful was the Fabulous Narration by Shane East and Samantha Brentmoor.
These two exceptional talents were so perfect with their roles as Sarah/Amelie and Henri,I absolutely loved listening to them as they took me on this journey through their voices.
Elle O'Roark has outdone herself with her imagination and her writing, putting together a timeless romance.
This is an excellent ending to an EPIC Love story.
Loved it.
5 Stars.

Oh, this series! Every book is so good and the conclusion had me! Picking up where Across Time left off, Amelie and Marie are experiencing the same thing as their family members had. Getting enough strength to get back to 1938 is key, and Amelie is on it. The question is, who is running things and how does it fall into the prophecy? Once she does get back to Henri though, life has changed. Unexpected circumstances have her questioning what to do next. And don't forget Marie. She is back too and now her life is about to change. Where does it all end? Elle O'Roark has given a visual of an incredible love taking place during World War II and it's frightening and hopeful. I could not turn this listen off and enjoyed every minute of it! Series like this are why I love to listen.

Samantha Brentmoor and Shane East conclude the duet and what a performance. Each is dealing with unforeseen circumstances, and their ability to use their voice to adapt to each emotional change is incredible. Tears in my ears, fear in my chest and love in my heart, each scene is charged with feelings. Perfectly cast, this is a listen not to be missed.

In my top listens of the year!

How 𝙴𝚕𝚕𝚎 𝙾'𝚁𝚘𝚊𝚛𝚔 does it, I'll never know, but she absolutely creates mesmerizing stories each and every time. Filled with masterfully chiseled plot lines, tenderly chiseled characters that steal your heart, her stories are ones the remain with you long after reading/listening.

𝑨𝒄𝒓𝒐𝒔𝒔 𝑬𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒚 is the second part of Henri & Sarah's story. I absolutely devoured the first part of their story and this one?? So gripping! So moving! 𝙴𝚕𝚕𝚎 𝙾'𝚁𝚘𝚊𝚛𝚔 had me all up in my feels, from anger to happiness to sadness, the journey she took me on was both nerve wracking, and wild.

Once again, 𝑨𝑬 is a time travel novel set in the 40s. We get not only these characters who are 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 than characters, but we get the historical elements. The details 𝙴𝙾 weaves into the story is magnificent!

𝑆ℎ𝑎𝑛𝑒 𝐸𝑎𝑠𝑡'𝑠 portrayal of Henri was magnifique! His smoothie voice was absolutely perfect for Henri, filling him with all the emotions! 𝑆𝑎𝑚𝑎𝑛𝑡ℎ𝑎 𝐵𝑟𝑒𝑛𝑡𝑚𝑜𝑜𝑟 was once again a queen with Sarah! She made her so real for me! Together, these two told this story in duet style in the most beautiful of ways!

𝗢𝘂𝘁𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 fans, why are you sleeping on this one!? Grab this entire series up, but especially this duet. It's unforgettable, it's stunning and I want more! Add in the touch of mystery & perfect amount of spice to the story and you won't be able to get enough!

Mesmerizing!

4.5⭐️ rounded to 5⭐️ on Goodreads and retail sites. Across Eternity, by Elle (Elizabeth) O’Roark, is the sequel to Across Time, which I reviewed last year, and the fourth book in the Parallel series. The audiobook was the conclusion to the story. Separated from Henri by 20 years, Amelie finds that what she considered her biggest weakness was actually her greatest strength. Nothing about her family and her gift was what she thought. With WW2 on her horizon and a challenge she never anticipated, she would learn what the prophecy really meant for them all, herself most of all. I really enjoyed this conclusion to Amelie and Henri’s story and I am determined to listen to the first two books in the series to get the rest of the story. The narration continued to be fantastic - I never get tired of listening to Shane East read! The story was the perfect example of what people are willing to do for love, especially a love that lasted across decades. I really liked Amalie and Henri and was impressed by their sacrifices in support of the prophecy. If you enjoy time traveling historical romance and stories occurring in WW2 Europe, then I believe that you will enjoy this audiobook. This book would not read well as a standalone novel, and at minimum it is necessary to listen to Across Time or miss a great deal of necessary information.

I received an ALC of this audiobook. I am voluntarily leaving this honest review. All opinions expressed are my own.
