Humph... well that’s another book down and having to wait for the next. Pretty annoying to have to wait, as the story, for all it was good, didn’t go anywhere, it was a filler book, a stepping stone book, the book in between where you have to wait for the next.
For an author with a self proclaimed different writing style and having written all the books already, you have to wait an awfully long time for the next.
Hurry up the next release please I need to know what happens.
Really getting into this series and intrigued to know how it ends

iv got so rapid up in theres book... it's so hard to find something to enjoy while waiting for the next release.... it's the middle of the summer holidays and the kids are listening with me... it wonderful being able to explain and discuss what's happening in the story these books are definitely up on the top of my favourites I'm going to try and beat his bravest Bryn until the next one book is released on Audible..

fantastic characters that strugle with the events throughout left me hooked. The ending has git me eagerly starting the next book such a great building of anticipation for what will happen next. 10/10

The overall plot is exciting and I enjoyed listening to the «origin» story of this universe. However, the repetitive explanations and descriptions grated, like being told that Gifford’s leg doesn’t work but his arms are strong every single time he’s mentioned. Towards the end of the book, at the point with the pond portal, listening to Moya whine about it for hours beforehand seemed completely unnecessary and I wasn’t sure if I could be bothered to finish the book because of it.
