The characters are developing well and Rath is doing his bit too with his training.
Was a bit of a plot-twist concerning Nylotte and Dreven (won't spoil it - you'll have to read it to find out lol).
Lots of action again in this book - Diana and co can't catch a break.
Love the narration too.
