Alcatraz Versus the Evil Librarians is the first adventure in a fantasy series for all ages by the number one New York Times best-selling author Brandon Sanderson.

It is quickly stolen by the cult of evil Librarians who are taking over the world by spreading misinformation and suppressing truth. Alcatraz must stop them, using the only weapon he has: an incredible talent for breaking things.

very enjoyable! loved the pacing between action and emotion and the fun/silly interludes (which often make commentary on this very thing)
Entertaining characters and a world that seems totally absurd, but held together by (admittedly unique) logic

Me and the children loved its cheeky narration style.
We will be getting the other books as a consequence.

Great performances and funny but fizzled down as it progressed. Then again to be fair its a young person book and I’m a hexagenarian

Great fun but struggled as it went along
