Alex Ferguson
'Sometimes defeats are the best outcomes. To react to adversity is a quality. Even in your lowest periods you are showing strength . . .'
For over two decades Sir Alex Ferguson dominated the Premier League, overseeing a sustained and unparalleled period of success with Manchester United. He was a visionary, able to move with the times and build title-winning teams both on and off the pitch. He was a man-manager of phenomenal skill, and increasingly he had to deal with global stars. His relationship with Cristiano Ronaldo, for instance, was excellent and David Beckham has described Sir Alex as a father figure.
In his bestselling autobiography, Sir Alex reflects on the highlights of his extraordinary career and reveals his remarkable story, from his very early days in the tough shipyard areas of Govan to winning the Champions league in Moscow in 2008.
Revised and updated, this edition offers reflections on events at Manchester United since his retirement and offers fresh insights and details on his final years as United's manager.
Includes a prelude read by Sir Alex Ferguson.©2013 Alex Ferguson

Would you listen to Alex Ferguson again? Why?
No, but I'm pleased I listened to this. What was one of the most memorable moments of Alex Ferguson?
All of the judgements and comments he makes about players are interesting and informative. A holiday cruise he talks about around the Western Isles and Outer Hebrides made me want to do the same holiday. What aspect of Alex Ferguson and James Macpherson ’s performance might you have changed?
Having been used to Sir Alex's voice for all these years anyone other than the man himself would be second rate in comparison, but this isn't meant as a criticism of James MacPherson.Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
No.Worth a listen
