This one lowers the bar and feels like some went on Wikipedia and read about isekai before asking ChatGPT to write a story about a small town American ex-military reluctantly succumbing to uninhibited fantasy girls who just cannot resist his small town charm and magical genitalia.
And it would be fine. There is room for everything in your audiobook collection. But then the publisher proceeds to throw comparisons to the Witcher, talks about immersive world-building, captivating females, mysterious world and adventures of a lifetime.
There is only one thing that immerses in these stories and it the same thing strong female characters are captivating with their mouth as often as possible. Some even dislocate their jaws in the process.
World is as mysterious as a 16 year old boy's brain.
This a boring romp with repetitive, predictible and terribly written sex scenes that feel like someone had a list of phrases to copy and paste are random.
Book fully met my expectations.
Isekai for americans.
