I could not tell you what the plot of this book was, it was literally about nothing. The build up between the characters was lacking, I wasn’t at all invested in them. Meh

Not the usual Max and Monroe Story, but I loved it just the same. A bit of suspense always adds to a story.
Will listen to this one again for sure.

It’s a good, light book to enjoy. I liked the Alice in wonderland theme and loved that it wasn’t a retelling but rather a completely new and original story. Both narrators were great, I love them both, but as always, duet narration would have made this kickass. The story is light, not too much action, becomes a bit too descriptive at times and made me zone out or increase listen speed, but overall it’s worth it, leaves you with a good vibe.

hearing this story come Alice was magical, it was funny , twisted and super sexy.the incredible duo of maxine Mitchell and Joe arden hit the ball straight out the park with this one .brilliantly done

As the title says. Very funny book with nice banter between the lead characters. Like the whole “main lady dating a scary mofo but isn’t intimidated at all”-thing. This kind of books always gets me. Also I like how different the book was. Instead of a character growing to be more open to love like in many other books here you still have a hardboiled guy growing soft but most intriguing a soft all around sweet girl slowly but surely growing more sinister. I’m totallly here for it.

Well narrated too although I feel the male narrator sounded a bit young for how I pictured the MMC in my head. Aside from that though he did a great job. Female narrator top notch as always. Great characterization all the way. ☺️

Liked this unusual story line that stayed interesting throughout. Would absolutely recommend.
