This a great start to a new series. Certainly different that this authors previous work that’s for sure. Different but in a good way, this Is in the future whereas the other books were back in time. I enjoyed this immensely. If life hadn’t have intervened I wouldn’t have put it down at all till the end. Highly recommended listen.

This book is an interesting concept that draws upon many of the fears facing today’s society. Loss of body autonomy, faceless algorithms making decisions on our behalf, and government corruption.
The story rapidly twisted away from where I expected it to go and created an interesting plot with great potential for the future. While this audiobook is much shorter than those I would normally listen to, thankfully it is now possible to get all four books in an omnibus edition. I received this book as a review copy, but I’ll definitely be using a credit to get the omnibus edition so that I can see where this story goes.
