About this listen

An exciting audio adaptation of the classic DC comic book series, All-Star Superman by writer Grant Morrison and artist Frank Quitely, featuring a full cast, sound effects, and music.

All-Star Superman is a spectacular reimagining of the Superman mythos, from the Man of Steel's origin to his greatest foes and beyond and is considered one of the most iconic storylines in the character’s history. In the audiobook, The Man of Steel goes toe-to-toe with Bizarro, his oddball twin, and the new character Zibarro, also from the Bizarro planet. And Superman faces the final revenge of Lex Luthor in the form of his own death!

Adapted from writer Grant Morrison and artist Frank Quitely's brilliant vision of the Man of Steel, this is one of the greatest Superman stories ever imagined.

All-Star Superman is one of my favourite comics series, a wonderfully timeless tale of epic superheroism that examines the real power of Superman - his power to inspire.

Despite being robbed of the visual storytelling of the amazing Frank Quitely, this audio dramatisation captures all the thrills, excitement and surprisingly touching humanity of Grant Morrison’s love letter to the cynicism-free joy of the silver age of comics.

The performances and sound design are brilliant, but it’s the writing that really shines. I found myself shedding unexpected tears at the ending.

More than any Superman story before or after, this story showcases Kal-El of Krypton as the embodiment of hope, and the desire to strive for a better tomorrow.

Superman as it should be - Epic with a human heart

Great story, but what really made it was the cast of voice actors. Wish audible did more books with a full cast of people. Hope there’s a sequel, or more superman stories with the same cast!

Cast was great

I’m a Superman fan and really enjoyed this. I’ve read the graphic novel a few times and it was awesome to be able to hear it in all its glory. The acting was great and it kept you engaged.

Loved the story too much.

All star superman is a lauded story and it was enjoyable to listen to this audio presentation of the story. There’s primarily Batman content so I hope this means DC will adapt other characters defining stories. DC High Volume.

Finally a non-Batman Audio Drama
