Candice Wright has created something very special when she created the “Raven Souls MC” series, a fantastic MC world with intriguing characters and amazing storylines that captivate your attention the entire time. After getting a glimpse of the drama between Legs, a club girl, and Midas, a patched member, a club girl in the previous book, I was looking forward to their story and learning more about them. Neither had the best of lives growing up, and hearing how Legs became a club girl was heartbreaking, but she held no bitterness and was a well-rounded person. Wiser, older, and knowing what she wants in life, to settle down and start a family, and loving a man who wants none of that, forces her hand to leave her found family and go out on her own. Midas was not very nice to her despite wanting her, knowing he could not give her what she wanted, and not letting anyone else give it to her. Yeah, he could be a real jerk, and his brothers told him so, pushing her away, playing on her insecurities, never worthy of being an old lady because she was just a club girl. Yet it was he who was not worthy of her or of being loved, all stemming from the demons in his past and the battles they stirred up within. Midas almost lost the best thing that ever happened to him, and he had to redeem himself and work to get her back. The complexity of these characters is remarkable, as are their growth and development. There is never a dull moment in this book, and besides the relationship drama, other things are happening: the club girls may be in danger, and someone from their past makes an appearance. This cleverly plotted, multi-layered story has the perfect balance of drama, angst, mystery, twists and turns, thrilling and suspenseful moments, heartfelt emotions, and steamy romance. Candice Wright, thank you for another amazing story, and the wild and emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧📚🎧 And for the fabulous audiobook listen and production performed by the wonderfully talented Lucy Rivers and Sebastian York, a perfect casting, a perfect pairing, who did an incredible job voicing the characters and delivering a spot-on portrayal of each. Rivers was a natural in Legs’ role, grasping every facet of her personality, from her insecurities to her fierceness and determination. York did the same in Midas’ role and was just as amazing at showcasing his personality, alpha-tude and all. Both were fantastic at performing the roles of the side/secondary characters too. They set the ideal tone for the story, and their expressive performance conveyed all the characters’ emotions, making you feel each one. With their entertaining storytelling, these versatile voice artists are a pleasure to listen to, and their captivating delivery keeps you engrossed in the story.

All That Glitters was amazing, it honestly had me so emotional and stressed a lot of the time… and I ate it up! I love these books!

This is Midas and Legs story (each book is a different couple but it’s all linked in some way) and the tension between these two is just a constant push and pull. You can feel all the history, the hurt feelings and bad decisions sitting between them from the start! A lot of it is Midas! Legs is no push over. She’s stubborn and strong as hell but underneath all of that you can see how much she’s been through and how badly she just wants to be loved properly… and in audio you felt it too, Lucy Rivers was amazing!

Midas drove me absolutely insane at times. Like I wanted to slap some sense into him and yell ‘PLEASE communicate for once in your life’ straight in his ear. He’s possessive, jealous, very messy and makes some genuinely frustrating choices (I growled more than a handful of times) but somehow I still couldn’t stop hoping for them. Their relationship is chaotic in the best way and had me fully invested the whole book.

I listened to this as an audiobook as I read and I honestly think it made the story even better. Lucy Rivers and Sebastian York brought so much emotion to it and really pulled me into everything that was happening. You could actually feel the tension, heartbreak, anger and chemistry between the characters, which made it really hard to pause and stop listening. Sebastian Yorks tough voice fix Midas so well and also had his emotions come through so strong! Whether is be angry or soft, you felt it all!

This book was (get ready for the list) emotional, dramatic, toxic, spicy, addictive… and basically everything I want from an MC romance. It definitely put me through it, but I loved the ride… this Club and Candice never disappoint!

The emotional, fun, witty and down right brilliant story telling and the performances from The Queen of Carnage all the way through to All that Glitters has been the most enjoyable audiobook experience so far for me and I’ve read/listened to a lot!
It has been wonderful getting to know and love all the characters and follow them throughout the different series of MC books and the Apex Tactical series too.
Candice Wright is amazing. I recommend everything she has written and can’t wait for more.

All That Glitters by Candice Wright is the fourth book in the Raven Soul series. This time we are focusing on Legs and Midas. I have been waiting for their story right from the beginning so I was very excited to listen to this one. Candice is a phenomenal storyteller. The plot is messy, in a good way, but made me question so much what’s gonna come in the next books, and where the MC is going from here. I love these characters.
Audiobook: narrated in duet style by Lucy Rivers and Sebastian York. They knocked this out of the park. Lucy knows how to shine, she is phenomenal as Legs, giving her so much dimension and depth. Sebastian? Do I even have to say anything about this God? Ok… fine…. Listen to the book!!! Both of them as a team, created an unforgettable audiobook!
I need book 5 so badly!!!
