The story shouldn’t work, surely the whole premise of an isekia’d roomba is just a gimmick? Well, no. The story is superbly written, Spot/Void and Beatrice are both really engaging characters, their interaction and mis interpretations of each others action and goals make for many funny and light moments. Great writing by the author and Phil Thron really brings the story to life with a superb narration.

One of the best books I've read this year. I'm not even hyped for book 2 because I enjoyed this so much that I went and immediately binged the next 150 (I think) chapters on Royal Road. The premise is funny, the execution is fun and the characters are good. I liked the narration too. If you want light-hearted fantasy or a bit of escapism that doesn't take itself too seriously then try this.

I read this story back on RoyalRoad, heck it's why I even have an account over there and on here.

I thought this was going to be a short silly story and instead I got a heartwarming, thought provoking saga with a lot of moments where even now I can't help but laughing out loud at.

This story, really emphasise the old adage of not judging things without investigating. So many things happening only because people jumped to conclusion...even my original expectations.

This one of my top 5 stories of all time. A must have.

On my 6th relisten and still loving it.
