About this listen
Unable to speak, Judith lives like a ghost in her own home, silently pouring out her thoughts to the boy who’s owned her heart as long as she can remember—even if he doesn’t know it—her childhood friend, Lucas.
But when Roswell Station is attacked, long-buried secrets come to light, and Judith is forced to choose: continue to live in silence, or recover her voice, even if it means changing her world, and the lives around her, forever.
This startlingly original novel will shock and disturb you; it will fill you with Judith’s passion and longing; and its mysteries will keep you feverishly turning the pages until the very last.

The characters were really well developed and I was particularly able to relate to the protagonists feelings.
The book contains many aspects such as romance, social discrimination, history and religion. I thought the character's disability was portrayed well, neither as a sob story, or as a shining inspiration, but a refreshing mixture of both.
I loved the narrator, she seemed a perfect choice for this book and read with lots of expression.
I would recommend this to anybody who enjoys historical fiction, young adult or romance.
Wonderful book, couldn't put it down

Its not my normal sort of book to be fair and I was a little aopprehensive about it.
I should not have worried - the characters were really well developed!
The are so many undertones to this tale that they are too many to mention in full, but love, angre, riomance and fear send you on a rollercoater ride along with the characters.
The narrator was brilliant! If you listen to the book, you will know why I say that! VERY well read with huge amounts of effort on her behalf.
Overall, its a great book (and persoanally I think should have wone the award!)
Lovely story!
