Summary
A desperate cry has come out of Denton, requesting Sephron’s aid. War is brewing, and to put an end to a lord’s dangerous greed, Sephron must infiltrate a hostile, desert city and rescue an unlikely prisoner. Soon, he finds himself trapped inside the walls of Galtor surrounded by cruel and violent soldiers. But he is alone in this venture, and the entire fate of Rhayadera rests in his hands.
However, this bloodshed is just a preface of the things to come. The anonymous creator of the horrific monsters, the devoid, is watching. He has been waiting patiently for five years. Sephron cannot escape fate; the creature dwelling inside him is continually growing stronger. The time is at hand for the master to come forth.
