I loved how the narrator narrated the entire book. Same voice actor in the movie. It explained the drive of powerful people who would do anything to attain more of it…. And the satirical thing, is there’s always the fair-faced woman in every scenario who uses their quest for power to play them as puppets. Such a powerful story! Looking forward to what the young mage would achieve with her new powers and if she will get her revenge or find her love!

I liked all the details described for the side characters and main characters.
Knowing what happens in Arcane, as well as some knowledge from Leagues lore in general. Hearing everything fall into place is pretty neat!

The story took some time to get going, and I didn't personally care for the war going on at first. Sometimes it also felt like we switch locations way to quick.
I'm bad with names, and this story had way too many names dropped, for me to keep track of who's who.

Overall a good listen, but I would recommend watching Arcane either before or after listening to this book, as it further goes into what I talked about lore for main and side characters in this story.

A story about Noxian politics, culture and society. Ambessa leading her family through challenges nad unexpected turn of events. With Rell next to her to learn and help in whatever arrises. Worthy read of you are into League's lore or want to know a prestory of Ambessa from Arcane.

Seriously, Ellen Thomas did SUCH a good job!! It's the same Voice Actress as Ambessa, and her vocal range is absolutely phenomenal. The story was good, definitely worth a read if you enjoyed Ambessa in Arcane--but Ellen's performance truly made it into something special.
