This is a three book box set, so go careful as the books have been released separately that not to say that they aren't a lot of fun,you just need to.check.that you haven't read or heard them before. Each book is a short adventure into the world of magic that is easy to follow, a clean listen and interesting characters. I think my favourite book was the last one because it as so different.
Hectic Halloween Hijinks
Connor a police detective has lost his confidence in himself. Meg his girlfriend has managed to cure him from his werewolf curse and now he is afraid he has lost a part of himself too. This is a bad thing for anybody but it can be dangerous for a police man, your never know when a routine stop might turn dangers. Is Megs magic powers needed once again to keep her boyfriend safe?
Murder, Magic, and Mousse
Meg is busy in the doughnut shop but otherwise enjoying the peace in town that the main be of tourist season brings. So is surprised to see a new face in town. Not along after Met and her boyfriend Connor are called after reports of shouts and it's not long before Meg discovers there is more to learn about the new comer than meets the eye. Will magic be able to help her this time or has she met her match?
An Enchanted Bay Wedding
It is slightly different to the rest of the books in the series in the fact that the investigation is carried out by a cat. Yes a cat, that is because belonging to a witch means the cat can talk, making it a quirky mystery. I like the fact that the author has the cat questioning what is normally there mortal enemies, dogs, squirrels and even a bird.
Meg has finally managed to marry her finance Connor without any interruptions or disturbances and now she gets to enjoy her honeymoon in Hawaii. With her talking cat unable to accompany them Meg drops her off at her mother's house for the week. Most Cats like looking at of Windows but something strange about the new neighbour has caught Penelope's eye. With no proof that the neighbour is up to no good Penelope must question the wildlife in the hopes of finding out what is going on. Can she do?
The narrator is fun, light and bubbly.
