I like to spend time on a good audio book, listening to it over a week or two and savouring the experience. Sadly, this book was so compelling that I tore through it in around two days. And now I have to wait another year or so until the sequel. Life is so unfair! I don't remember any book that grabbed me like this, and I'm not even a fan of the genre, particularly, it's just a great story. A brilliant read, relatable protagonist and carefully constructed world which is entirely convincing. Just read it, it's outstanding. Excellent narration too.
