A very basic book that will definitely suit the initial beginner. I listened to it out of interest. I found no aspiration before certain letters and there was no audible lengthening of vowels with a strac. There will always be regional dialectical differences too. A great tutor, based on Uist, is Ann Desseyn of Love Gaelic. Ann definitely concentrates on the flowing sound of Scottish Gaelic and how it should be spoken. Grammar is fully explained with a huge amount of resources offered by her. If you feel serious about learning this beautiful language then this book may pique your interest.

Very basic in everything!
