A huge amount of a well dissected history that is not only captivating but also informative how history is written. The author is eloquent with true crucial facts that gets buried and never properly credited. A real must read to those who look to understand how things can go really wrong when it involves individuals with personality disorder - despite the time-space continuum! I loved reading this book and I think if you truly value how history helps us to understand how we got to here, then start with this book.

well researched and a sterling attempt to take a more neutral view of the story of Ann Boleyn. My only criticism is, the author should have used a professional narrator.

As any regular listener of audio books will tell you, a professional and well chosen narrator gives an audio book a lot more depth and really enhances the listening experience. That in no way detracts from the books actual content, which I enjoyed very much.

It’s a good book with a few interesting details I didn’t know, however some of the inflictions in the authors voice creates a condescending tone at times - a little OTT. It is clear that it’s a passionate rendition of Anne Boleyn’s life.
