It's a good story and it's not too poorly read. Unfortunately this version doesn't include the two books written in the 1930's. Final chapter ends abruptly and without a pause another voice ends the recording. Scared the stuffings out of me, so heads up.

A classic must read

it took some doing but the tale finally ended. this last book us the most emotional of them all as it deals with the loss and sacrifice of WW1. shame that there's not another book as I never wanted it to end.

This is literally the only place I can find to contact audible. The books are a single file for 55 hours of listening. There isn’t enough storage on my phone. It should be in parts to avoid this. Don’t buy unless you’ve got lots of free storage. This must be why it was cheap. AVOID

I couldn’t understand the narrator. She mumbled and spoke to fast. I had to give up.

I could not bear to listen to the speaker despite desperately wanting to experience these books again
