Summary

I really, really loved this book. I loved the characters, both together and apart, and thought the narrators did a great job giving them their voices. I ate this book up, I was hooked right from the start and I didn't want to put it down until the end. It was an easy read, while still having some emotional moments. I definitely recommend this one!

Kit is so seriously obsessed with Collins and has been for YEARS, ugh I love it, he’s so boy in love!! *swoon* he’s very tummy flutters type of small affections, and then dirty nasty once that slow-burning ends 🥵

Collins is such a headstrong, bad*ss girl; she’s all I’m independent and imma do what I want, don’t need you or your money 🤏🏼🤏🏼😌 and that headstrongness is pretty much how we get this couple finally making moves; we love a can’t turn down a challenge moment 🙂‍↕️

Another great read from C.W. Farnsworth! I adore how she writes the cute, small moments in a building relationship, always makes me swoon 🥰

As always, I adore this pair of narrators. Stephen Dexter always delivers so well with the flirty banter and has such warmth in his voice. Vanessa has such great expression in her voice. Listening to her play Collins was such a great experience!

I am voluntarily writing this honest review after listening to a free ALC of this audiobook via Valentine PR. ANTI-HERO is the second book in the KENSINGTONS: THE NEXT GENERATION series by CW Farnsworth. It was narrated by Stephen Dexter and Vanessa Edwin. Kit Kensington, future CEO of Kensington Consolidated, was just starting out as a new executive with the company and prepared to work hard to prove himself. But he had to face the huge distraction which came in the package of Collins Tate, whom he hired as his assistant as a favor to his sister. Kit had a crush on his big sister’s best friend since meeting her six years earlier. Collins had done a good job avoiding the immature billionaire Kit for those six years until the weekend before he took on his role in his family’s company. She lost a bet which resulted in an unforgettable night with him. For the sake of their working relationship, they agreed to pretend that night didn’t happen. However that became no longer possible when Collins discovered she was pregnant with the baby of the last man she would have chosen. Kit hoped that this would be his opportunity to not only move her into his penthouse, but also move him into her heart. This audiobook was funny, sweet, endearing, and enjoyable from the first chapter to the last. I really loved Kit, who was so much more than everyone expected, and Collins was such a strong, independent woman that it was impossible not to admire her. The narrators were perfect in their roles in this open door, first person, dual POV, contemporary billionaire romance with tropes including sister’s best friend/best friend’s brother, accidental pregnancy, longtime crush, secret relationship, workplace romance, forbidden romance, and reformed playboy. The writing was excellent, and the pacing was on point. The couple had excellent chemistry and the banter was top notch. I definitely recommend this audiobook for listeners who enjoy contemporary billionaire romance and the tropes listed above. If reading with your eyes is more your style, you can find the ebook in the Kindle Unlimited program.

I loved listening to this story! Even though I’m not usually a big fan of accidental pregnancy stories, this one is a good one.
But honestly - the true hero of this story is the narrator of the male main character. Holy. Moly. 🫠
There's humor in this story as well as serious subjects and it'll have you switching from giggling to sad or anxious within minutes.
