About this listen
A crime spree to steal aerospace technology. An intern with the brains to stop it. When Jess uncovers evidence that her boss is stealing technology to build his company, her coveted internship at Aries turns from dream job to catastrophe. Worse, her boss cons another young woman into becoming his accomplice, and the duo’s chemically enhanced skills and weapons help them become the most infamous supercriminals to sweep the tech world. Before they pilfer every aerospace lab in North America, Jess must use her ingenuity to stop them - risking her career, her relationships, and maybe even her life.
©2019 Tiana Warner (P)2019 Tiana WarnerI just finished it and it was well written with the adventure/action, I was slightly disappointed that there was no romance between them but the story was good.
The book is set in the USA and about Jess being an intern at Aries 181 who are making high end technology and Jess finds out something major and then try’s to prove it, but no one believes her.
Halley gets manipulated by the boss of Aries 181 Tony, they have a relationship, and Halley feels like they are both in love with each other and so she will do anything for him. They both end up with special powers too.
I will say the story was action packed and it reminded me of the Joker(Tony) and Harley Quinn(Halley) story. It was about friends having each other’s back.
This book is from the point of view of Jess and Halley.
The narration was brilliant and I would listen to another book done by this narrator.
