‘Fantasy as it ought to be written’ George R.R. Martin

The gripping finale to Robin Hobb’s classic Farseer Trilogy.

With the king no longer living and the heir, Verity, missing and declared dead, Prince Regal has treacherously seized the throne.

Regal’s torture has left Fitz more dead than alive, and more closely than ever bonded with his wolf. All who once loved him believe him dead: even Molly, now pregnant with his child. But he cannot go to her without placing her in terrible danger.

With nothing to lose, Fitz sets out for Tradeford, where Regal has withdrawn, having heartlessly abandoned the north of the kingdom to the Red-Ship Raiders. His quest: to assassinate the man who has destroyed his world.

As book that’s over 30 hours long that isn’t action packed could very easily get ‘boring’ or monotone or monotonous but this narrator is so fantastic that never happens.

Absolutely loved!

The Realm of the Elderlings is my favorite series ever but the audiobooks have been plagued with bad narrators. But no longer! Joe Eyre's performance is so brilliant, he really brings the story and Fitz to life and does the story some much deserved justice! His voices and accents for all the characters are great and the depth of emotion is truly felt in his performance. He made me laugh and cry throughout the series. I sincerely hope that he gets to narrate the rest of Fitz's story because he is bloody brilliant!

Amazing narrator for my favourite series!

my heart ached all throughout the three books. I need a break from such books.

Melencolic but unputdownable!

This trilogy was one of the best reads of my life, and I know it will remain with me for years to come. I felt profoundly invested in the characters and the relationships they forged, and it even rekindled my love for pets through the way companionship was portrayed. At times the story felt heavy, and I carried real worry for certain characters—I sometimes wished their endings had been different. But alas, this is Robin Hobb’s tale, and she tells it with uncompromising truth.Joe Eyre’s narration brought the characters to life in the most heartfelt manner. His performance was so vivid and nuanced that I often forgot I was listening; it felt instead as though I had been transported directly into that world. His characterisation was brilliant, making me feel as though I knew these people personally.Brilliant indeed—both Robin Hobb’s storytelling and Joe Eyre’s narration combined to create an unforgettable experience.

Brilliantly brought to life
