About this listen

It is said the Phoenix Lords arrive on the eve of great moments....

Guided by fate, Asurmen the Hand of Asuryan comes to the craftworld of Ulthwé. At the behest of the head of the seer council, he joins the warriors of Ulthwé and the young seer Eldrad on a quest to the Crone Worlds in search of the oracle Hiron-athela.

It is believed that this being holds an artefact that could safeguard Ulthwé's future, but in order to obtain it the eldar must travel a dark road....

Despite being on the shorter side I think this is well worth the price or even a credit. It is not only a very engaging story, the production of the audiobook as well as the voice acting is top notch!

Excellent audiobook!

Loved the sound effects, perfect to listen to whilst painting. Really gets you indulged into the Eldar storyline and way of life. Would recommend listening with headphones on.

Great short story

Overall the story is forgettable even accounting for it being a short story. It contains some of the largest Eldar characters so can be a fun listen.

The performance is fantastic and clearly made for an audiobook. It is also nicely volume controlled where the 'action' noises are not overly loud.

Forgettable but with a strong performance
