Summary

The final novel in The Seven Sisters series is here. Narrated by Richard Armitage and Tuppence Middleton.

Spanning a lifetime of love and loss, crossing borders and oceans, Atlas: The Story of Pa Salt, co-authored by her son Harry Whittaker, draws Lucinda Riley's saga to its stunning, unforgettable conclusion.

Maia, Ally, Star, CeCe, Tiggy, Electra and their long-lost missing sister are gathered together for the first time, on board the Titan, to say a final goodbye to the enigmatic father they loved so dearly.

He has entrusted each of them with a clue to their past. But for every truth revealed another question emerges. How did Pa Salt amass his fortune? Why did he choose to adopt the sisters and why were they chosen from such different parts of the world? Have the answers been there all along, if only they had known where to find them?

The sisters must confront the idea that their adored father was someone they barely knew – and, even more shockingly, that his long-buried secrets may still echo through the generations today.

In this epic conclusion to the Seven Sisters series, everything will be revealed.

Tuppence Middleton returns to complete the sisters' story alongside Richard Armitage as Pa Salt.

Critic reviews

A masterclass in beautiful writing (The Sun on The Sun Sister)
Delicious reading (Daily Mail on The Pearl Sister)
Captivating, magical, and heroic on the part of a son who has shown himself to have his mother’s writing talent and determination, Pa Salt and the Seven Sisters are now destined to forever be the ‘stars’ of a unique and classic time-travelling series
Another epic tale of love, loss and discovery (My Weekly on The Pearl Sister)
Heart-wrenching, uplifting and utterly enthralling. The Seven Sisters series is Lucinda Riley at the top of her game: a magical storyteller who creates characters we fall in love with and who stay with us long after we finish reading. Dazzlingly good. I will treasure this series of books for a life time. They have taken me to ever corner of the globe.

Worth the wait! A must read

I’ve read and enjoyed all the books and was eagerly awaiting this final one. Well done to Harry completing this very challenging task on behalf of his mother.

Having said that….. and trying to avoid ‘spoilers’…..
It was no surprise to learn about Pa Salt’s ‘demise’ - I had been expecting something on these lines since reading the first book.

I found the assumptions about Elle’s disappearance lacking in credibility. Given Pa’s intelligence and his lifelong knowledge of his enemies then surely he would have included what happened as an option. Surely he wouldn’t have been that gullible.

I enjoy Lucinda’s books and will continue reading others she has written.

A bit predictable in parts

I was unsure how this final book would play out . I had no reason to worry .
What a Fantastic finale to an epic series.
I would suggest the reader re aquatints themselves with the previous books first . Having waited over a year for this final book I found myself backtracking to remind myself of caricature’s back stories .
Enjoy !

Fantastic

Beautifully written, heart warming, heart breaking, full of hope yet gives so much closure. I find it so fitting that this book was written by Harry, a man, because it was clearly a more manly feeling throughout it compared to the books focused on the sisters. It needed that, in retrospect. Yet, Lucinda was so clearly in it too. I cried and smiled my way through from the beginning to the end while falling into love with Pa Salt's kindness and heart. I've listened to it twice already and there will be more times, without a doubt.

The perfect ending to an amazing story

Good idea for a story, but went on much too long. Had a lot of mushiness and sadness going on. At times got so boring. Feel it was stretched out far too long.
It was also, so frustrating in parts. However, I had to see it through to the end, and again feel it just had too many negatives. Quite depressing.

Long and depressing.
