This audiobook made a lot of things click for me, especially around why I react the way I do in relationships. The breakdown of each attachment style was super relatable without being too “therapy speak,” and the workbook part actually helped me start putting it into practice. I’ve already noticed small shifts in how I communicate. It’s not a magic fix, but it’s a really solid starting point.

This is so well written and easy to relate to bundle on attachment styles that has both the science and then lots of exercises that we can do ourselves (in the second part of the bundle) to get to the bottom of our own behaviour patterns and then help us do something positive about them.

I loved the structure - going through each style one-by-one and then the workbook does the same - so its really easy to follow and then find the specific parts that you want to focus on and return to.

Attachment styles effect us all and the book helps to explain that these styles impact how we feel about ourselves, not only how we act or relate to others and that our own attachment style can go back all the way to early childhood.

For me, I probably fall into a part of each style at different times and it was enlightening to understand which I fall into more often than not. What made it all so good was being able to dig into why I do this, and what I can do to smooth the parts that don’t serve me any good purpose - along with the tools do so so - making my relationships so much better and giving me a much clearer and happier view of my own well-being.

It’s a great book and workbook, the exercises are easy and enjoyable too! Most of all, it really does work and understanding where and why I react the way that I do, and understanding the style of my friends and partner really does improve everything. Incredibly helpful books!
