A dense and engrossing narrative full of detail and dark wonder and ancient bestial fury in the hearts of men and werewolves throughout the decades of its timeline. Such a rich broth that it will surely reward repeated listens. It has a prequel with a very similar title ... look for 'Michael Winterfox', it being the life account of the Indian mentor of the present day werewolf hunter depicted by this particular book. Doesn't make much difference in which order you choose to read this and that - you're guaranteed a howling good time.
