A small group of survivors take shelter in the remains of a devastated city, hiding in terror as the full effects of the horrific infection start to become clear. The sudden appearance of a company of soldiers again threatens the survivors' fragile existence. Do they bring with them hope, help and answers, or more pain, fear and suffering?

This is the perfect follow up to Autumn. Partly following Michael and Emma and bringing in some new survivors from the city. Moody's descriptions of the city are incredible and it's not hard to imagine the scenes being set.
The fact that Autumn hasn't been made into a TV series yet is almost criminal.
The narration in this book is brilliant and Aubrey Parsons brings all the characters to life with their unique accents and traits.
Just can't fault this series.
